To the Kilback Family:
It is with sadness that I heard of your dad's passing and I know that words fall short in their ability to adequately capture and communicate one's feelings. I offer my condolences and sympathies to each of you.
I have fond memories of Brian -- his wisdom, his humility, his gentleness of spirit, and his clever and subtle wit. I really liked your dad.
But it is awkward for me to speak of Brian in the past tense for my faith holds to this:
There will dawn a day in which the pain and sorrow will be remembered no more.
The joy experienced in this life is but a faint harbinger of what lies ahead in the coming Kingdom
And "all the stolen voices will someday be returned."

Dear Dan and family.
Roxanne and I were so sorry to hear of “Big B’s, Little B’s” passing.
As I’m very sure he was with all of Dan’s siblings, Brian was so keen to share the latest news about his son. I remember regularly seeing Brian at his favourite coffee establishment after Dan moved overseas. Brian could barely get out a “hi” and I’d hear about Dan’s latest adventure. Clearly he was crazy about his family.
Our thoughts are with the entire family. Brian was a wonderful man and he will truly be missed.
Take good care.
Roxanne and Derek

The world has lost a true gentleman and friend. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Brian 1978 to 1982 at Border Credit Union. We had some great laughs while getting the job done. He helped me with my Dad's Estate in 2006; I hadn't seen Brian in many years but it was like we were back in the old Border office working together again. He will not easily be forgotten by those lives that he touched. My and Bob's deepest condolescences to his family.

Dear family - Keith, Christine, Dan and your families.
What a loss for your family but also for the Lloydminster community. We had such a confident and respectful relationship with your dad as a trusted financial advisor and friend for many years. In addition, our memories include warm family connections with your parents and each of you.
Brian was fully dedicated to the credit union and its members he served; such a respected community man. Our condolences to the family.

Condolences to Brian’s family. I worked and travelled with Brian at Border Credit Union. Marj taught our family piano. They were an outstanding couple whom we admired greatly.
Brian was a Credit Union executive always ready to share and work on solutions on behalf of our members. His voice was quiet but his experience and logic were very bold. He spoke forthright to support his opinions while listening and respecting others.
His journey was in service. We are sorry for your loss. Greg and Laurie

Our sincere condolences to the Kilback family but especially Dan with whom I also enjoyed working. Brian served many years as a Board Member with the Public School Board in Lloydminster. His quiet manner and principled positions were always appreciated. It was always interesting and informative to chat with Brian at Border Credit Union.
