Dear Neil and Family...my memories of Doris go back to 1976-77 when I used to Bonspiel with Doris. What fun we had, what amazing shots that sometimes surprised us all, and what a great skip! So quiet and kind!! It was also comforting for me to know that Doris resided in what used to be My Moms room at the Hemstock!! I know you all will have such fond memories of a beautiful soul. We were so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. You were wonderful neighbours to us at Loon Lake for so many years. I am glad that we had the chance to reminisce last summer, and I had such a good visit with Doris that one morning. She will be missed.
