Obituary of Johanna Gmeinweser

Johanna Elisabeth Gmeinweser passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, April 24, 2019 at the age of 87 years.

Johanna is survived by: her loving husband, Rupert Gmeinweser of 54 years; her son, Peter Gmeinweser; her daughters, Caroline (Tony) Greening and Christine (Ed) Hardy; her grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, and Nicole Gmeinweser, Jessica and Mathew Hardy, and Hanna Greening; her brother, Rudi (Angela) Beckers; her brother-in-law, Edmund Allman; her sisters-in-law, Theresia (Simon) Urlacher and Agnes Gmeinweser; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is predeceased by: her parents, Johann and Karolina Beckers of Homburg, Germany; her sister, Irmgard Allman; her brother, Hans Beckers; and her father- and mother-in-law, Joe and Barbara Gmeinweser.

The Memorial Service for Johanna will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm.

Donations in memory of Johanna may be made to Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
