I was devastated to hear this news. Brad was one of my most favorite people - and such a great addition to Fairview Detachment so many years ago. As one of Brad’s supervisors, I was always so impressed with his common sense attitude, his sense of humour, his enthusiasm for the job and - most importantly - his kind heart and good soul. Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are to hear of Brad’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Brad at the St. Paul detachment. Family was so important to him and he brought that feeling of family with him every day to work. We fondly remember get togethers at the Zerr household. My sincere condolences. Brad was a recruit in Fairview, Alberta when I was stationed there. He was such an impressionable young man in whom I saw great potential as a member. While we lost touch over the years with transfers etc, I am truly saddened by his passing.

I was shocked truly saddened to hear of Brad's illness and passing. We were troop mates in the RCMP and close friends. Over time, our contact reduced, especially after he retired. I regret that. Brad was one of the finest people I met in my 28 years in the RCMP. His dry sense of humour, funny laugh and love for cheesecake are some of my fondest memories. He used to send me Christmas card updates on his family and it was clear they were his whole life. My condolences to you all at this difficult time.
I am blessed to have had him as a friend.

I am sorry to hear of Brad's passing. Brad always had time to stop and talk with all the new recruits coming into the Lloydminster detachment. His sense of humour was one of a kind. Although I moved away a few years ago now, I sure enjoyed our last visit that we had in the parking lot at the Alberta Hospital here in Edmonton. I remember seeing that Saskatchewan Roughriders license plate and thinking "man, these people have got it right!" then I hear "PANCHUK". I look up and there is two people I have always enjoyed seeing and talking to. I will keep your family close to my heart and in my thoughts and prayers. Brad was taken from this world far to early, but he has left a lasting impression on many people during his journey.
