We are heartbroke to hear of Doug’s passing. One of the friendliest faces around the rink, school and golf course. It was always a pleasure catching up with Doug wherever our paths crossed. I initially met Doug through Rotary, we got to know each other a little better at a leadership course at Banff. He was always a bright spot, and still is, a flame will kindle forever of this precious man. We loved you Doug. So many memories with you in them, we can’t even begin to imagine our lives without you in it. We will always remember your big laugh and smile, your big voice calling for Cooper and your Sweet Pea, your shining blue eyes, the early hockey mornings, coaching and cheering on our boys, the early lake morning coffees, the boat rides and tubes with the kids, our lake “family” suppers, the campfires, just what a great person you were.
