Darwin, Laura & Lorinda....I'm so sorry to hear of you Mom's passing! She was such an incredibly fun person, she always made me feel welcome at your house. She was so welcoming and sweet.
I remember the first year I ever bowled I signed up with Laura, (I think we were in grade 7 or 8) and we were on the same team with Darryle Kawowsky....you guys could bowl so great! I had no idea what I was doing , and Gert took me aside and gave me special lessons and taught me how to bowl. Between Gert & Darwin helping me I actually did ok. I've never forgotten her kindness.

To Laura, Lorrinda & Darwin, I was so saddened by your telephone call on your mom's passing. Gert was my first employer at the old Lloyd hospital and we always kept in touch over the years. She was an amazing lady who put family first and had such a good relationship with her children. I visited with Gert and Lloyd a few times and was shown such friendly hospitality. They both enjoyed visiting. I will dearly miss her telephone calls. May you be comforted in the fact that she is now with your dad.
