Obituary of Leo Lajoie

Leo Louis Joseph Lajoie passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the age of 80 years.

Leo is survived by: his loving wife, Alma; his brothers, Raymond (Jeanne),
Paul (Monique) and Ernest (Claire); his sisters, Irene, Isabelle (Erwin), Thérèse (André), Cecile (Roger), Diane (Cal), Lorraine (Leigh), Denise (Dave) and Jeannine (Brian); his sisters-in-law, Pearl Gervais, Eva (Ray) Gurnsey, Armande (Doyle) Haugen, Christine Gervais (Kathy McGuire); his brother-in-law, Allan (Mary) Gervais.

Leo was predeceased by: Alvin and Beverly Gervais, Jean Paradis, Arthur Lajoie, Louis Lajoie, Joseph Lajoie and Michel Lajoie.

The prayer vigil for Leo will be held from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 7:30 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 16 at 2:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church or the Thorpe Recovery Centre.
