So sad to hear for Uncle Glen's passing,
We were introduced to Uncle Glen through Maureen MacInnis and I will aways remember him for the welcome he gave us whenever we visited. Nothing was too much trouble. One year I remember he got the sleigh out and took us for a ride over the lake. For us 'Limies' it really was special . Also I have had the privilege of not only visiting but staying at Jumbo Hill and for that I will always be indebted to Uncle Glen as it was a special place that I know he, quite rightly, treasured. He is remember here with fond memories. My condolences go out to all members of the family. Michael Dean, Seaford, East Sussex, UK.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Glen. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
Tim’s fondest memory is Uncle Glen letting him drive the tractor when he was about 8 years old. I only had the pleasure of meeting him a hand full of times but I knew I liked him right away.
Sending love and hugs....Tim and Julie

Uncle Glen my favourite Great Uncle you will be missed by many young and old. You always held a huge spot in my heart - my horse loving person who always knew how much horses meant to me. You always got me out to ride or see the horses on the farm.
You loved working on the farm and could find something to do for everyone who came to visit. The farm was always the place to visit for me knowing Uncle Glen and Auntie Hazel would be home and there was always something to do. We usually ended up on Dumbo hill for a meal at some point as Uncle Glen alway loved to go there. Every time I got out to visit Uncle Glen proudly took us up to Jumbo to show us his plans to build something or something new that he built. He loved being up on his Jumbo hill so much and now he’s going to be there forever.
My Uncle Glen the only person who could call me “Bunny” and get away with it.. I always smile when I think about you.
Love you always
Your Bunny forever

It is with regret that I heard the passing away of this very generous man, who each fall would invite many of us to a great meal and entertainment, and a visit to his "MUSEUM" that he kept improving year after year. I offer my deepest sympathies to Sherry whom I know, and the entire family. God bless all of you.

Sherry, Detchon families, relatives,
We were saddened and shocked to hear that your dad passed away. He looked “Great” the last time we saw him. During our visits with you, it was truly evident the love you have for your parents. I am glad he kept you on your toes and this of course created lots of giggles in the stories you shared! Cherish all your memories of him. It won’t be the same driving by your ranch anymore! Huge hugs Sherry!❤️

My sincere condolences to all of the family. Glen was such a character. My late husband, Bill Clifford, just loved him. I first met Glen at the Alcurve 2003 Reunion. I remember he danced all night. He was like an “Everready Battery”,as Bill would have put it! He took us up to Jumbo Hill, which was very nice. He even offered us the “Honeymoon Suite” when we returned the next time. May he be dancing with the angels now and Rest In Peace.
