Obituary of Peggy St. Onge

On Sunday, February 25, 2018 Peggy Joyce St. Onge (nee Look) passed away in an emergency room at the Red Deer Hospital with her daughter, Marion,  by her side.

Peggy was born on February 19, 1927 in Lloydminster, SK to George and Matilda Look. She lived most of her life in Lloydminster, close to her twin sister Joan Noble.  She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald, who left her to raise her two young children. She attended business school and worked at the Lloydminster Co-op for 25 years. In 2009 she moved to Red Deer, AB, to be closer to her daughter, Marion Low.

Peggy leaves to mourn: her children, Gerald (Janet) St. Onge of Calgary and Marion (Al) Low of Red Deer; her sister Joan and family;  many nieces and nephews; 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Service at St. John’s Anglican Church in Lloydminster on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:30 PM.  Interment will follow at the Lloydminster City cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
