Obituary of Grace Dobson

BIOGRAPHY DOBSON ~ Grace Jennette Dobson passed away peacefully in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday, October 4, 2010 at the age of 94 years. Grace will be sadly missed by her daughter Barb and Larry Bright; sisters-in-law: Ardis Dobson, Norah Nicholson, Barbara Cavanaugh, Fran Nicholson, Mable MacKay; brother-in-law Eric Nicholson as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Quinn Adams officiating. The eulogy was read by Bill Dobson followed by his solo "Amazing Grace". The hymns sung were "Abide With Me" and "The Old Rugged Cross" accompanied on the organ by Bev Haydu. The active pallbearers were Bill Dobson, L.B. Nicholson, Dick Haydu, Gordon Kuhn, Cecil MacKay and Nicholas Dobson. Interment was held in the Oxville Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS We would like to thank Dr. Chapelski and the E.R. Nurses, Dr. Snyman and the 3rd floor Nurses and the Ambulance Attendants for their care. Pastor Quinn Adams for conducting the service, the pallbearers, Bev and Bill for the music and eulogy and their thoughtfulness.
