Dear Winston and Tiffany and
family,
I am so sorry to hear Lorna has passed away. She was a fabulous neighbour at a time when I was in need of a friend. Although we did not keep in touch, she was a friend in my heart and much of what she taught me about God and his love changed my heart. I look forward to seeing her in heaven.
Your pain at losing your wife and mom is shared by all whose life she touched. My prayers are with you both and your children and grandchildren. God blessed her with the two of you and she was the first to admit her blessings.
Take care of each other. I know she is in heaven making beautiful music.
Love, Brenda Eisner (Marfleet)

I remember Lorna as our lives intertwined in music and also when she taught school. She was the key person in what was called the Velvetone Choral Society when I was in High School. We sang for Christmas concerts and even on CKSA. Thanks for allowing her to share her incredible talent with the community. Prayers coming your way at this time.

Our sincere sympathy goes to Winston,Tiffany and family. We are both sorry to hear of Lorna's passing. We spent many years teaching with Lorna. She was a very talented teacher. She gave a lot to the community through music as well. Her personal achievements through music were notable. Her degree in music which came later in her life in Toronto was certainly notable. She was a great mother and grandmother. Lorna made a huge contribution to her family, community, and church.
Sincerely
Inie and Des Holtby.

It was a great pleasure to share time with Lorna 1 year ago at our 45th anniversary of our grade 12 graduation. I remember grade 6 very distinctly- the many notes Lorna (Mrs. Chappell) wrote on the chalkboard in her amazing penmanship and the diagrams she drew as things were taught.
Her fingers seemed to float along the piano keys and she made the music appear so effortless even though I knew she always worked so hard.
