Obituary of Myra Ritchie

Myra Ritchie passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on November 23, 2017 at the age of 98 years.  She was just shy of celebrating her 99th birthday on December 6th.

Myra will be lovingly remembered by two daughters: Kay Ritchie and Linda Pierce; five grandchildren, Laurie (Mike) Bugiak, Tracie Pierce (Bill Arthur), Jodi (Don) Bertrand, Craig (Tammy) Pierce, Brooke (Roy) Elson; seven great grandchildren, Jammi-Lynn Pierce, Mitch Bugiak, Morgan Bugiak, Shelby Pierce, Maddsion Pierce, Hanna Pierce and Arden Elson; three great-great grandchildren, Kaibrie, Taylor and Chase Sorin; and Cassidy, the faithful and constant 4-legged companion.

Myra is also survived by her sister-in-law, Gina Ross; cousins Peter, Trudy and Raymond Bygrove and families and cousin Bill Ritchie and families.  Additionally, Myra is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Myra was predeceased by:her husband, Arden Ritchie; her parents, Jim and Jean Ross and her siblings, Agnes, Jim, Ines, Jean, Irene, Ed, Bill, Fred and Pat.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, November 27 at 7:30 PM at the McCaw Funeral Chapel.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 28 at 2:00 PM from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta with Joyce Dickson officiating.

Donations in memory of Myra may be made to the Dr. Cooke Patient Comfort Fund or the Lloydminster SPCA.
