To the Bill's family,
Our sympathy in the loss of your mother, grandmother and friend. She was the First Lady to tell me about the colour Magenta when painting the Ford house so many years ago.....and then to give this young man a job for the summer of 1973 so he could paint and paper at all the Bill's homes and allow me to earn enough money to begin my life away from home....and to start with a room with Grandma Alma Bills in Calgary.
Thanks for the memories so many years ago and rest in peace Mary Karen Bills.

Hugs to all of you in the loss of Mrs. Bills. She was a special friend to my Gram, my Mom and myself. She was always a kind person who cared deeply about others and animals too!! She was a special lady and I remember the "Watkins" days and wonderful visits at the farm. We were fellow cat lovers and always enjoyed a good chat about our fur babies and whatever else was going on at the time. The loss of a mother is great and will be felt always but also remember she is with Mr Bills now and there are other wonderful friends to greet her there as well. Thinking of all of you at this time. Condolences to you all in the loss of your mom.
We have such warm memories of Mary Karen - she was a warm motherly friend to us - taught us to have a garden (like an acre), how to make jam. Always inviting with a smile.
She also stepped up to play piano in church - "oh my what a big challenge!"

Mary Karen Bills was such a wonderful, kind hearted woman. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone who crossed her path. Although I hadnt been there in a couple years, I had the privilege of knowing her through working at the Dr.Cooke. May God bless her and her loved ones through this difficult time. My condolences.
