Dale and Don have been great influences in our lives through the church and with their attitudes to life. They were friends to us at a vulnerable time in our lives. Sorry we are unable to attend the celebration of Dale's life. She was a role model and inspiration to me and many others.

I was heartbroken to hear of Dale's passing even though I was aware that it was imminate. So many times over the last few weeks I laid awake at night trying to figure out a way to communicate to her (even trying Facebook links) just how much I truly valued the opportunity of knowing this wonderfully intelligent, warm-hearted, generous lady. I wanted her to know how much I admired her courage and humour, how much she inspired me, and how I cannot pick up a book without thinking of her. I feel blessed to have known her, and I will never forget her. I just wish I could have communicated to her the impact she had, how very important and special she will a!ways be to me.

Rodney, Tracey & Don---I am thinking about you
I first met Dale in 1960 as we both stumbled into the role of student nurses at the University Hospital in Saskatoon--- she from Maidstone --I from Lloydminster.
I was immediately drawn to her warm & genuine personality underscored by her fabulous sense of humor!!
She did her profession proud in her many roles over the decades.
Her intellegent approach & leadership qualities were ever apparent in every mission or project in which she became engaged.
She was a people person--- loved her fellow man.
Dale will be sorely missed!

Dear Don and Family,
We were saddened to hear of Dale's passing. No mere words can take away the pain or lessen the grief of losing someone so dear. I trust you will find comfort and peace in the memories of your life together.
I was privileged to have known and worked with Dale for many years through the Canadian Cancer Society. In her many volunteer roles, she demonstrated capable and efficient leadership. Always dependable, warm and caring, Dale carried out her many responsibilities flawlessly and with dignity. She contributed so much to the organization.
I love the picture you chose. This is just the way I remember Dale. I feel blessed to have called her my friend.

Don and Family:
It is with great sadness that I learned of Dale's passing. I will always remember her as a formidable personality from whom I learned how to deal with the folks at Division Office in Regina. I always enjoyed our visits and chats; working with her on the local CCS board was a great learning experience. She was a true leader and a great inspiration to those who knew what working for a cause was about. I know that she will be greatly missed by you, her family, and by her many friends, colleagues and associates. May your memories help to ease your burden of sorrow.
