Dear Richard, Nathan, Josh, Bethany and Hannah....Vic, Wendy, Brad, Michelle, Gwen and Pablo....
We read of Marcia's passing the morning we left for Florida and were sitting in JFK Airport waiting for our next flight...Deb texted us. Our hearts were heavy for all of you and of course rejoicing for Marcy. She was an amazing lady....I loved reading her blog...she wrote so well...from a transparent heart. Of course both being mom's of adopted children we had an unusual bond. I was so happy to meet you Richard and the children at Vic and Wendy's when we still lived in Steinbach several years ago. Vic and Wendy would often comment that you and Wes had many things in common...ministry and a similar hair line....I wish you could have met.
In the days ahead as you move forward may God walk with you as you continue to journey the path He has chosen for you. We are praying for you and the children....Gwen and Brad....cherish the memories of your sweet sister...Vic and Wendy you have another child with Jesus....what a reunion it will be....our prayers continue as you grieve her absence here on earth....we love you...hugs...Wes and LaVerna

I am so sorry to hear of Marcy's passing, but I know she is in the presence of our Savior! I met Marcy about 19-20 years ago, not long after I lost my son at the age of 5 days old. Marcy and I had a bond that no parent wants, but we both lost a child, and that is what brought us together. Another thing we had in common was adoption. I know she is in a much better place, but I know her family is grieving and missing her. I will be praying for all of you, that you will experience God's wonderful peace in the coming days! The struggle is over. Marcy fought the Good Fight with this disease, but at the same time knew her Reward would be so much greater at the end of this. Dear Richard and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Marcy's passing, she was such an amazing woman, so full of life and grace and love ... I always enjoyed reading her blogs and writings and musings, especially as she faced this disease. She was such an encouragement to me when I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago.
