WOW! I just found this online today! My thoughts and prayers are for all the Beck children.
I worked for "Doc" for over ten years and stayed in touch with him for many more. He imparted in me a passion for dental excellence and continual learning. He was a man of great wisdom and knowledge that loved to spiritually and intellectually challenge his staff.
Doc impacted my life more than any other person. He was an amazing, passionate teacher.
Know that you are loved, respected and you will be missed, Doc. May you rest for Eternity in the presence of The Creator my friend.
May The Creator comfort your precious children.

We only found out today , when I referred a co-worker to him

Dr. Beck was our family dentist about 43 years. We never ever considered leaving him for another; his work always stood the test of time. Even after many years of experience, he still would consult with peers or other professionals if he thought there might be a better way to approach a special situation. He always used the gentlest approach possible. I remember one time when he patiently coaxed one of our preteens for 3 hours to let him give the needle. His philosophizing was entertaining and revealed his care for humanity. He will be missed us.

I wish to express my sincerest sympathies for Wayne's family members. Wayne is one of the few kind people who genuinely helped me as a young man. He encourage me and gave me confidence to go after my dreams. He told me that I could achieve anything I wanted " just go out there and pay your price." He reached out and lifted me up in a time where I needed guidance. All his advice was solid and withstood the test of time. I can honestly say I love this man for his wisdom, goodness and generosity. I am saddened at this loss as I and my wife Estelle had been planning to spend some quality time with Wayne and family. I am certain Wayne is in a good place and the family can be comforted in this for sure. My prayers are with the Beck family.

My most sincere condolences to the family.It was such a shock when I heard that Dr Beck had passed on.I had seen him in the office about three weeks prior and I was to see him again in early March.I only knew him professionally but he treated me like a friend and I guess we were really.I had known him for years as he had been my dentist for a lot of years.He always treated me like a friend and I never dreaded going to see him with dental problems.He always did a tremendous job with little or no pain.I am going to miss him as a dentist and a friend.May he rest in peace.B

Dr. Beck had been my dentist for approximately over 30 years. I chose him as my dentist through the Lessard family! He was their dentist for many years in Lloydminster. He would ask me how Amber Lessard was doing whenever I had an appmt/ with him.He took a shine to her as she had lost her mother at age 9 yrs old to cancer. Dr. Beck fitted her with braces, and she now has a beautiful smile! He was pleased when I told him that Amber had become a dental hygienist and worked in Calgary. Dr. Beck had always had interesting topics to discuss with his team while he worked on your teeth. I enjoyed these discussions. My teeth had been in bad shape when I first came to see Dr. Beck, but to this day I am satisfied that I was given the best service and treatment at his office. He will be sadly missed by many in the Lloydminster community for his fine work in dentistry and support to his clients. Dr. Beck was a friendly and kind-hearted.

I was shocked to hear of the news of the passing of Dr Beck. I was a next door neighbour in appx 1978 and had several lengthy chats about life and all kinds of worldly issues.. Not sure we solved many, but we did chat about them on the back step...
Dr Beck was also my dentist for those nearly 40 years. A friend and cohort on a few civic issues as well. Loved those unique discussions and debates. A truly great guy and a wonderful dentist!

Deepest condolences to the family. Dr Beck and I worked in the same building and soon became friends. He was so easy to talk with and was so friendly. I saw him for emergencies on weekends he never hesitated to go in. His advice about life in general was always appreciated. What an amazing person I feel so lucky to have known him. Our condolences go out to the family of Dr Beck.He was me and my husbands dentist for many years.He was an awesome dentist.Both of us were scared of dentists.He was very caring and compassionate.His kindness will be missed.One time years ago he had came home from the lake to get something.My husband was in a lot of pain with his teeth.We just happened to call his place and he had just walked through the door.He told my husband to meet him at his office and he ended up extracting two teeth.Then he went back up to the lake.We will miss him very much.

He was such a special man. He told us that i was pregnant and that we are having a girl, before we even knew! And he was exactly right.
