Sorry for your loss Donna. The girls will always remember Norman's quiet nature on the bus....all the little bad kids never seemed to phase him!! Kelly and I will remember "Stormin' Norman"......-40, blustery, no other busses are running and here pulls in Norman to the yard!! Cherish your memories. I believe he is now having coffee up there with my parents:)

We are so sorry Donna & Family.
We are so glad that we bumped into you and Norm before we left Lloydminster in June.
Norm was so respected by Melissa and Devin when they rode "Norm's Bus" to and from school for so many years. We were thankful that he did not put up with any "crap" on the bus and got our children to and from school safely on a daily basis. They kids were always so excited about his seasonal treats he had for them. After they graduated from High School, the odd comment from them was, we miss riding the bus with Norm. We remember that Norm was just as sad as us the day our pup got tangled up with the bus. He was a gentle, kind soul and always had a moment to chat about the kids and what they were up to after their bus riding days with him were over. :)

Norm was our bus driver nearly my entire school life. I never missed the last day on the bus before Christmas and the last day of school. He always had boxes of chocolate for us at Christmas and ice cream cones at the Pop Shop on the last day of school. He didn't accept bad behaviour on the bus and wasn't afraid to stop the bus on the road to repremend a student who was acting badly. Thankfully, I behaved and never faced him this way. He was a wonderful man and in so thankful that I have a few wood pieces of his that he's made for me. I will treasure them.
