I heard of Kens passing today . I am terribly sorry . Ive known Ken since I was a small child , as I got older I had enjoyed countless visits with him in the store , eventually turning into a collector of tropical fish and relying heavily on his wealth of knowledge . My only regret is never hearing him play the guitar he and my father hitchhiked to Edmonton to buy when they were only teenagers .
Peace be with you friend .

My deepest condolences to you all. I met Ken at a church function and we began talking about guitars. He said to play everything I could whether it be my favorite song or something on a TV commercial. He inspired me to be familiar with music in a whole new light. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I remember Ken from school days in Lloyd, longer hair, playing guitar, a band, and then much later when I would talk with him occasionally at the pet shop when I went to Tim's while visiting the Hearthstone. I always respected Ken and thought the best of him. I wish his family strength in their time of grief. My condolences.

To Norma and Family
I am saddened and shocked to hear of Ken’s passing.
Ken was a man who will always hold a place in my heart.
He was someone who took an interest in my growth as a younger man, at times he was a father figure
sometimes a mentor and most of all a great friend who encouraged me.
I often find myself trying to be to younger people what Ken was to me because of his great example.
I am so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing he has his place in heaven and we will see him again.
My Heartfelt condolences

Dear Norma and family, Very shocked and sadden to hear of Ken's untimely passing. Although I have lost touch with many of the French family since my second marriage, I have been friends with Shirley for 40 years now, so have heard much news about your family over the years; marriages and new additions in particular. The Ken I remember was a loving, kind and gentle man with a strong love for his family and his beliefs. In reading some of the previous condolences, I see that those things remained true to the end. My heart goes out to all of you at this difficult time. Take care of one another.

Norma, and famlly - I am so saddened to hear of your loved ones passing. I knew Ken's mother, Lillan French for many years, and so got to know Ken. Ken was always so friendly whenever I ran into him. He was a musician and I know he loved to play his guitar.
\ken believed in God and he was very kind-hearted and ran his business well, always very welcoming to all his customers, He was a very wise and gentle person. I believe God will find a place for Ken in that heavenly land! God be with you all and your are all in my prayers. I just heard about Ken's death from a friend at the Farmer's Market today (Sept 15/16)..

Some of my fondest memories were of Ken on the worship team in early days of LGF. His signature song to me was always When God Ran! He sang it with all his heart and it caused one to see God in that special way. If I remember right he also had a "wry" sense if humour that made you think---did I miss something!!!
Of course he was Mr. Pets for so many years and the pet expert that was so willing to serve people.
So sorry for your loss. Here is my HUG to you all and I pray The Comfortor come and comfort you as only He can at this time!
