The "Purple" shirts may have lost the loving couple that started it all, but the legacy they leave behind is huge indeed. I don't think this lady that I got to call Aunt never had a slow switch, just locked in the on position. Sadly it was switched to off but her memory will be "on" forever. RIP Aunt Joyce

We were so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Even tho we are from Lloydminster area(Sandy beach) we met joyce and Bert in Country Roads. She was such a nice person who enjoyed herself wherever she went. We saw her often at Tuesday and Saturday dances. She was a great dancer and never spent much time sitting. Our sympathy to all Joyce's family.

Bert and Joyce were great neighbors. They would often stop for a quick visit. Mostly on their way to the field to pick rocks. She worked hard along her husbands side.
I would see various grandchildren learn how to drive tractor or truck. But she taught them what hard work is all about.
God has decided that she needed a rest. Her memory will live on with her children and grandchildren.

As these photos prove,I have been hanging around with my Aunt Joyce for almost 65 years. And, our very best times together were this February at her home in Yuma and a few weeks ago with Linda at our cottage at Lac Bernard, Quebec just outside Ottawa. We swam, ate, drank and laughed as many, many stories were told of growing up in Kelfield and raising her gang in Millerdale. Those memories are more precious then ever now. She was special to our family and we miss her terribly. It is still hard to believe that we will not pick up the conversation with her at the next Toner Family Reunion.
Sylvia and I extend our deepest love and condolences to our Radke cousins and celebrate a life well lived.

Joyce was (and is) a delightful woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I fondly remember the sparkle in her eye as she modeled her newest 'Red Hat' bonnet. What fun it was to watch her dance! She was so full of joy; so gracious and thoughtful to everyone. God's WORD says in 1 Thes 4:13-14, "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."
