Jean was a dynamic and outspoken advocate on the public stage; combined with many acts of kindness and generosity on a more private level. She will be missed.

Jean improved the life of many a young paper carrier and I was one of them. She taught us accountability early in life. I've never forgotten her, despite not seeing her for over 35 years. I'm glad to hear she lived such a great, long life.

Coral, Warren, Kevin and families, I am so sorry for your loss. It is the passing of an era -- my last living aunt. I know you will miss her so much! Aunty Jean was always welcoming and gracious to me. She was quite the character in her day fighting strong for every cause she believed in. I always remember Karen Graf calling Aunty Jean the most educated woman she knew -- self educated since she never had the opportunity for advanced education. Lloydminster will always be better for her having lived and served there.
I am sorry that the short time frame and commitments here in Kelowna mean I cannot be with you on Monday, but know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Jean's passing. She was truly a wonder! I spent many years with her on the Chamber of Commerce and remember her drive, loyalty to this community and nothing would stand in her way if there was something to be done.

So sorry for your loss. Jean was such a strong lady and worked so hard for what ever cause she decided to support. We were so thankful that she wrote Edna every week for as long as she could. It meant so much to Mom.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Jean.
I remember working with Jean for many years with the Chamber of Commerce back in the early 1990s and what a character she was!
She was always so full of life and loved to help the community.

Sorry to hear about your mom, Walter & Jean gave me my first job when I was 17 I did inventory for her and helpped Walter with the horses and pony ring , they took me into their home and made me feel apart of their family, when they were going in the parade with the democrat and team your mom sewed well into the night so I would have a old time long dress and bonnet to wear when I rode with them, she insisted lol. It takes a very special lady to open her heart and her home to others I feel so lucky to have had a small part in her life
