BIOGRAPHY ALLEN ~ John Wesley Allen passed away peacefully in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the age of 77 years. John will be sadly missed by his wife Kaye of Marwayne; children: Debbie and Al Haftner of Turtleford, Terry-Lynne and Marty Hines of Marwayne, John and Karen Allen of Blackfoot, Layne and Nikki Allen of Blackfoot; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings: Wilmer and Grace Allen of Lloydminster, Stanley Allen of Two Hills, David and May Allen of Spruce Grove, Gerald Allen of Oshawa, May Fanthorpe of Lloydminster, Anna and Jim Clayton of Paradise Hill; three sisters-in-law: Florence Allen of Lloydminster, Zona Schick of Vernon, Cora and Ron Bodnar of Loon Lake as well as numerous other relatives. John was predeceased by his brothers, Fred Allen in 1999 and Harvey Allen in 2006, and by his grandson V.C. Hines in 1980. The funeral service was conducted from the Marwayne Alliance Church, Marwayne, Alberta on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Marvin Krebs officiating. The eulogy was read by Jack Tyner. The hymns sung were �What A Friend We Have In Jesus�, �The Lord�s My Shepherd� and �In The Garden� accompanied on the organ by Kevin Nelson. Special music �Daddy�s Hands� was played. The honorary pallbearers were Vern and Eileen Graham, Lloyd and Greta Gray, Jack and Pauline Tyner, Wes and Cathy Penner, Albin and Leila Swanson. The active pallbearers were Daniel Blake, Craig Blake, Brett Hines, Mark Hines, Justin Allen, Kyle Allen and Dallas Dyck. The interment was held in the Marwayne Cemetery. In lieu of thank you cards, we will make a donation to the Palliative Care at the Lloydminster Hospital. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Lloydminster Palliative Care or to a charity of the donors choice.
