Obituary of Robert Francis Marr

Robert Francis Marr passed away at the Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Francis leaves to mourn his passing: four siblings: Barbara Ann Smith, Ernest (Nyna) Marr, Jim Marr and Hazel Peregrym as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service for Francis was conducted from the Knox Presbyterian Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Paul DuVal officiating. Ernest Marr gave the eulogy. The hymn sung was,“Bringing In The Sheaves” accompanied by organist Irene Knowlson. The honorary pallbearers were Lynne Callan, Phil Callan, Cliff Callan and all of his Auction Sale Friends. The active pallbearers were Morgan Smith, Thomas Marr-Laing, Brad Marr, Kevin Holzinger, Timothy Mastel-Marr and Gordon Brown. Interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Francis Marr may be made to Grace United Church Building Fund or Charity of Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
