I am so very saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. When I think back to Dusty's grade school years, my thoughts always include your mom and dad at the ball diamonds and hockey rinks. (and those coffee nights talking about "our boys" with your mom and Lori Brow). We would like to extend our sincerest condolences on to all of you. We feel so blessed to have spent some great times with your dad this summer. The smile on his face when he was out in the boat was priceless. There were so many great stories told and laughs shared. It was a summer we will never forget and will hold those memories so dear.
Yesterday's service was beautiful and we want to say thank you for sharing those wonderful family photos. Hold those precious memories close and we wish you all the best as you try to move on.

Brad, you left us very much too soon. I always felt that you and Derek were the closest thing I had to brothers. Even though we spent many family gatherings around the same table, I still wish I had more time to get to know you even better. I cried when I heard the news, and I hope, were our positions reversed, you would have done the same for me. You forgot that I nicknamed you "Simon" when I was 12, but you liked it back then when you were going to University. I hope that you are free of pain and enjoying the smiles and hugs of those who have gone before us. I'm really going to miss you, Brad.
Myles, Reed, and Adam, I hope there is something I can do to make your loss easier. You are strong boys and didn't deserve to have to say goodbye to your Dad so soon. I'm confident you will someday see him again, and until that time, I offer my hugs (and bad jokes) if/when you need them.
