I have fond memories growing up with Don. He was always smiling and had a gentle soul. I was in school with him from grade 6 to 12 and will always be near and dear to my heart and memories growing up.
I can't imagine what you are all going through but hope you can find some peace in that he will always be loved and remembered by many.

Good morning. I am a fellow Ufa delegate from La Crete. Sorry we can not be there. We send our deepest sympathies and condolences to you in this time of grief. I would like to share a little something with you as to what kind of man a Don was to me. In January my wife and I were in Red Deer for a meeting, my wife being a little shy did not feel comfortable sitting with all the guys. When the evening was almost over Don came over and introduced himself and started up conversation about his favorite subjects, his wife and daughters - hockey,cell phones,teaching his girls how to drive, and his love of drawing. I felt Don would always go out of his way to make other people feel comfortable and welcome. We know he will be deeply missed and we will keep you in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss, there is really no words. I hadn't seen or talked to Don since I had left UFA, but I will always remember this about him, he loved where he lived, what he did and most importantly, he loved, adored and was extremely proud of his family.
