I remember Dennis. We were childhood friends. In the mid 60's we would go to the stockyards on a Saturday morning in Prince Albert and clean the cattle trucks out with a hose to make some money. Then we would go to the movies at the Strand theatre with our earnings! Sometimes we would go to the Prince Albert Hearld and get some newspapers and sell them to people downtown.
We lost touch over so many years and I just saw his obit now. Dec 5 2019
Never forgotten Dennis.

My deepest condolences Hazel and anyone else that is mourning the loss of Dennis Primeau. I used to work with Dennis out at tangleflags, and he was my roommate in Lloydminster hospital for a week after one of my heart attacks in January. I enjoyed playing crib with him and having his familiar face in the room with me, it made my time there so much more comfortable. I stopped in and visited him when I was at the hospital and I had passed my cardiac stress test with great results. It was hard for me to share my good health when I could see his was declining. I can tell you though, he is in a beautiful place now, and there is no pain for him anymore. When I had my heart attack on New Years day and suffered full cardiac arrest, I had a brief visit to heaven and it was miraculous there. He will have been greeted by many angels there and will be waiting to greet you when the Lord reunites you with him. I apologize for not being at his funeral, but I just found out of his passing. He will be fondly remembered.

We are so sorry to hear that you have lost someone you love. It’s very difficult to watch those we care about struggle with their health. Please be assured that many of us out there understand to some degree - what you are going through. One thing that really helps is a promise in the bible, at Isaiah 33:24, where it says that soon there will come a time when no one will say “I am sick” ever again. Can you imagine that? It’s what keeps us going personally, as I too, have lost friends, relatives, and my own father. So please hang in there and continue to look forward to what was promised to a dying man almost 2000 years ago: (Read Luke 23:43). The “paradise” he mentioned will be right here on earth, where people like your loved ones will be brought back to life again. (Please Read John 5:28, 29, Job 14:14, 15 as well as Job 33:25) Take care, Larry & Jacquie

Hazel . We send our deepest sympathy on the passing of Dennis . God must have needed a early rising fisherman. We will always cherish the good times we all had at the lake when all we had to worry about was fishing and a afternoon nap ! May you cherish those memories of Dennis and May they bring you comfort . I remember when I first got to know Dennis. He and Hazel moved in 2 doors down from me and my wife.We met as neighbors do.Thein occasional "Hi,how are ya".After a while as it was with Dennis he invited us over to his garage for a beer.Anyone who knew Dennis knows there was no such thing as 1 beer.and the garage was a popular meeting place.Anyway I still did not know Dennis well yet but I happen to mention I was building a shed that weekend.Of course Dennis offered to give me a hand.I was more than happy to accept. Now at that time I was a younger man.I worked hard and played hard.Saturday was my morning to sleep in(or so I thought).Boy was I wrong. At 6 am the door bell was ringing. There stood Dennis with his tool belt on ready to work.I had to talk him into a cup of coffee before we started just so I could get my eyes open.Needless to say we worked hard and drank beer for the weekend and built a shed.(I didn't get to sleep in Sunday either). This is the man Dennis was.Always ready to help a neighbor or freind without question or hesitation. He was my freind and I will miss him.

Dennis the menace I'm sure gonna miss you. Your kindness and generosity and friendship and sense of humor will always be talked about and remembered fondly. I promise to continue to keep Hazel looking beautiful for you to smile down upon. Hazel, you are the strongest most caring person I have seen. I admire your grace and your ability to give Dennis so much love, compassion and dignity. He lives in your heart forever... I know you know that. :-) There are no words for the sadness.. Only the hope that the emptiness heals to a place that you begin to find hope and happiness again. I'm always here to chat or for a hug anytime. Take care, Val & Miles
