My sincere condolences to Lawrence's family. Lawrence truly leaves a legacy of laughter. As an Iron River School classmate - I recall looking forward to his antics. This included of course swallowing a frog or (on a dare) in the deep cold of winter getting his tongue stuck on the ice cold steel railings. He also had a gentle caring side that was evident if he saw we were hurting. I am saddened to hear of his passing. May The Lord comfort you all at this time of such deep sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of sorrow. It is very difficult for a family to lose a father and husband. He will be missed. My best memory of Lawrence is of his mustache and his laugh. Maria Joines (aunt to Justine and Jenavieve)

To Lawrence's Family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of Lawrence a dear Iron River School classmate. Our class was a close knit group and even though we all went our separate ways we did make the effort to get together because we cared about each other and thought about each other. I will forever cherish the fond memories I have of Lawrence. Always a very pleasant and kind person with all kinds of ideas and tricks up his sleeve. I will forever remember the day he swallowed a frog in class. May he rest in peace. With love, his classmate Betty Knapp.
