We want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to all family members and friends who are grieving at this time. It’s hard to know what to say at times like this, but please find comfort in what it says at John 5:28&29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.” Imagine the joy of welcoming our loved ones who will be resurrected back to life as promised in that bible verse. Till then, it's like they are “sleeping.” (Please read John 11:11-14) As well, there will soon come a time when disease, sickness and pain will be gone forever. (Please read Revelation 21:4) May these sure promises bring you comfort. Take Care. Larry & Jacquie

Grandma new the way to my heart as a kid, as all grandmas seem to know. She always seemed to have a crystal dish full of scotch mints sitting out when we visited. I remember raiding them as soon as we got to their place. To this day I always seem to have a dish of mints of some kind out at home or in a container in the car like Grandma and Papa had. I even have some at my desk at work.

Gramma brought magic into my childhood.
Visiting her and Poppa was always a delight. She adorned their home with gathered rock treasures from their many travels. Even the walls had rocks built in! The revolving display case in their living room was my favourite. Gramma became a silversmith and fashioned many treasures from Poppas beloved rocks. They gathered their treasures in the Rock Shop in their back yard (a converted school house). It was heaven to explore there as a kid!
Gramma kept an extensive garden, and was always ready to go berry picking on a moments notice. A bowl of fresh picked berries with sugar and cream was often on the menu.
Gramma led by example. She loved, and was loved, by so many. She was an active member of her community, and found joy in many social activities like dancing, bowling, and shuffleboard. She welcomed all.
I can map out Gramma and Poppas home by memory. It was such a magical place, filled with photo albums, artistic delights, and many games for the grandkids to enjoy. Their was a map with pins that recorded the many travels Gramma and Poppa had.
In her later years, Gramma found joy with Jack. They both had so much love to give.
Gramma was always a joker and found humour in life. I hope to follow her lead and am forever grateful to call her my Gramma. God bless.

I remember visiting Grandma and there was never a shortage of sugar cookies meant for dunking in your tea or 2 hour cinnamon buns. I never could duplicate those buns even though she shared the recipe with me and we tried it out together. She had the magic touch!
She had an impressive collection of tea cups that each held a memory for her. I remember sitting in front of her display case and trying to pick my favourite (I think it was the red one with gold trim). To this day tea just doesn't tast the same unless it is in a china cup!
