Peter Anton Nickel passed away in the Battlefords Union Hospital, North Battleford, Saskatchewan on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the age of 82 years.
Peter was born on March 14, 1932 in Main Centre, Saskatchewan to Helena and Anton Nickel.
Peter will be sadly missed by: his children, Tony Balsdon (Bev), Gregory Balsdon (Jasmine), Viola Sperling (Gerald), Donna Balsdon (Darvin Gambler), Sandra Merlin (Pat), Peggy Dyck, and Ashley Balsdon (Dorothy Bamba); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren;
siblings, Marlene Zenther, Marvin Nickel, Ruby Cluthier, Evelyn Nickel, Ivy Tait, and Beatrice Nickel.
Peter was predeceased by: his parents, Anton and Helena, and Mary Viola; his daughter, Lorraine Nickel; and brothers, John Nickel and Melvin Nickel.
Donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
