To the Williams family: Please accept our belated condolences on the passing of Wes. He was a good neighbor and a quiet but friendly man. I remember many times using his phone to call home when we had a breakdown near his place in the days before cell phones. Several times he gave us a lift home. I well remember his yellow Datsun (or was it a Toyota?) going by on his way to work at the farm. He would always wave when were out in the field and many times would come over and chat for a while. I will miss seeing him out there. I wish God to give you all Peace at this time and good health.

Wes Eva and I have been playing poker at the moose lodge for the last few years and I lost many a hand to Wes on the river all he would do was smile and say it is never over until the river flops.
When Eva was playing cards he would always ask me to kill sometime until the next poker table started up by giving me a couple of 5 dollar lessons at crib.
A money rich man that never had to brag about it or to show off and always had the time to stop and chat no matter how busy or sick he was.
He and I spent a few minutes over the vegetables at super store talking about the weather, the wives or anything else that would come up.
I will truly miss his gentle way of talking and his advice about marriage, cards and life.
I hope to be half the man Wes was and always remember what goes around comes around, treat people with understanding and respect and good things will come.
Rest in peace my friend.
Love,
Lance and Eva Stout
