Ken and I were like brothers in high school. We went to alot of parties in and around Lloydminster. We had some great friends in the Neilburg area where we spent some weekends. Lloyd Watson, Alec Palmer and Ken Ostensoe were some of our friends in the Nielburg and Mardsen area and at that time none of us were married. He was very well liked by all and we had great times together. We moved to Calgary a year or two later and lived together for a while with a few other guys.We would have poker parties with other kids from Lloyd every second or third weekend.One weekend we were going home with Ken's rambler station wagon and near Carstairs it caught on fire NO PROBLEM. I Hitched a ride back to Calgary, picked my car up and I stopped at the farmers place where we left the car and continued on to Lloyd When the weekend was over we picked the car up on the way back. It caught on fire one more time but we found the problem and made it back to Calgary. Unfortunately we lost track of each other because of his job and travels. My wife and I give our condolences to his kids and family. Harvey and Bonnie Wilson.
