So sorry to hear of Lorne's passing. My heart goes out to Del, Ryan, Jody, Erin and the families and my heart is with you. I always enjoyed Lorne's smile, humour and positivity. I still have the buffalo skulls Lorne and Del gave me when I left SK; they have and will continue to be treasures in my life. Rest in Peace my friend.

To the Topley family: I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Lorne was a big part of my summer days while I worked for the Town of Lashburn. We could always count on him for a humorous comment or trick. He was very supportive of the girls working for Allan VanZandt. He always met you with that cagey smile. He will be missed.

I was so sad to hear of Lorne's passing. Such a sweet man. Always smiling and telling funny stories. He'll be missed. We have so many great childhood memories of visiting you guys on the farm. Dad was just telling us a funny fishing story about Lorne a couple weeks ago and we were all laughing like crazy over it. Lorne will always hold a special place in our hearts. Take care. :)

Dear Topley Family, I'm very sad to hear of Lorne's passing. I met Lorne a few times at the U of A, and the times we spoke he was positive and gave me great advice. Even through his mask I could tell he was smiling and a happy man!

Topley Family: It is with heavy heart we send our condolences to you. Lorne met us quite a few years back, what a great fellow, whenever we ran into him we had such great chats be it in Safeway or a restaurant he always had time for a great visit and of course laughs. We rooted for him through his transplant and how great to see him out and about after surgery. He will be in our thoughts and prayers along with you all.

Sorry to here about Lorne. We always enjoyed a good visit whenever we met especially before Lorne's transplant when he was at a doctors appointment in Lloyd and we would see him in mr.bills after. Lorne had such a positive attitude and felt so lucky he was given a few more years.

He was one of the most kind hearted people I've ever met. He was a regular customer where I work and there was not one time where he came in without a smile. And it didn't matter who you were he was always friendly and could turn you worst day into a good one. So I appreciate all the chats we shared and the laughs as well.

Lorne was a really nice man. I worked at the Lloydminster Clinic and every time he came in for an appt he always had a treat for us. Always made us laugh. Great man he will be missed.
