Obituary of Edward Konjolka

BIOGRAPHY KONJOLKA ~ Edward Michel Konjolka passed away in Vermilion, Alberta on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Ed will be sadly missed by his wife, Grace; one daughter, Bev (Eric) Ragsdale; and one grandson, Reid. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary; sister, Helen; brother, Joe; and daughter, Colleen. A Memorial Service was conducted from Southridge Community Church, Lloydminster on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ken Fisher officiating. The eulogy was given by Judy Gerich. The hymn was "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms." The organist was Michelle Andres. The solo "Amazing Grace" was performed by Danay Smart and Special CD Music "Go Rest High On That Mountain" was played during the service. Interment was held in the Kitscoty Cemetery with Reverend Bob Aldrich conducting the committal service. Donations in memory of Ed may be made to the Vermilion Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, Canadian Cancer Society or to a Charity of the Donor's Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
