Dear family: It is with a very heavy heart I read of Doreen's passing. What a lady. During my employment at Points West I had the priviledge of many visits with her. We would have visits and share memories of old times. She always had a smile and a hug when I would take her little packages of peanut butter. She always called me her angel. I no that in fact she is the angel. I pray she rests in peace and happiness and that God will give you strength and love in the hard days ahead of you. She always spoke of you Sherry and your friendship with Shawna. God Bless you all Sincerely Brenda

It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing that you all held a special place in Granny's heart. They say that memories and friends are the keys to healing, we are there for you.

Doreen was granny to so many people she was such a hard working lady when she did janitor work at Lloyd High School she was granny to every student. She had such a great memory when she was in Points West Living we would have chats and she remembered my name and it had been many years since we had met. Rest in peace Granny you were loved by many.

What a great woman, always thinking of others. I was happy to re-establish our friendship when Doreen was at Points West and I would do Sunday Services. Now she can rest and well deserved it is!

I was very saddened to see that one of Lloydminster's finest ladies has passed away. Doreen was "Grannie" to so many and was always a pleasure to meet. Never a bad word to say about anyone and always had time for a chat. No matter what kind of day I was having, Doreen could always bring out a smile with her smile. So kind and gentle, the world has lost a great person. She worked hard all her life and now finally she gets to rest.

Sincere sympathy to Doreen's family - she was such a special lady. I cherish memories of our "after hours" visits as she did the janitorial work at our office building!
