George Gannaw passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the age of 83 years.
George leaves to mourn: his wife, Rose; one daughter, Darlene and Jack Marling; daughter-in-law, Vangie Estrada; four grandchildren, Lance and Crystal Marling, Sherry and Trevor Rockey, Curtis and Christy Lechinski, and Greg Gannaw; five great grandchildren, Tyson, Victoria, Shailyn, Mylah and Calli; two brothers, Hank and Sheila Gannaw and Allan Gannaw, as well as numerous other relatives.
George was predeceased by son, Dwayne Gannaw, first wife, Evelyn Gannaw; and two sisters, Florence and Mary; and two brothers, Raymond (Shorty) and Peter.
Donations in memory of George may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital or Dr. Cooke Patient Comfort Fund.
