Obituary of John Lang

LANG ~ John Adam Lang passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the age of 87 years. John leaves to mourn his wife, Adelle; stepson, Laurie (Lorene) Wich; stepdaughter, Debbie (Warren) Callfas; four grandchildren, Alana and Dale Wich, and Ryan and Michelle Callfas; one brother, Ed (Eileen) Lang; four sisters, Hilda Hopkins, Josephine Enzenauer, Betty Hill, and Clara (Murray) Moore, as well as several nieces and nephews. A private family Memorial Service for John was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Rajappa Savariappan officiating. The eulogy was given by Calvin Hill & Laurie Wich. The hymn sung during the service, "Amazing Grace"was accompanied by organist Pat Hankey. The urn bearers were John's grandchildren, Alana, Dale, Ryan, and Michelle. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The reception was held in the Crown Plaza at the Days Inn Hotel, Lloydminster Alberta. Donations in memory of John may be made to Lloydminster Home Care or Lloydminster Palliative Care. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in lieu of flowers in memory of John may be made to Lloydminster Home Care or Lloydminster Palliative Care.
