Obituary of Moira Campbell

CAMPBELL ~ Moira Ruby "Mickey" Campbell passed away at the Vermilion Health Centre on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Mickey will be sadly missed by her five daughters; Wanda (Roy) Young, Judith (Roy) Murray, Vicki (Gordon) Murray, Michelle (Ken) Hillaby, and Tammi (Bruce) Etherington, twelve grandchildren and their spouses, eighteen great grandchildren, sister Maggie Deane, sister in laws; Mayme Swan, Audrey Grant, Anna Campbell, and Joyce Walker, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends. Mickey was predeceased by her parents Russell & Agnes Walker, Husband Tom Campbell, Infant son Tonny, sister Donalda and her husband Don Copley, brother Allen, brother in law Bob Deane, in laws; Isoline (Bill) Ferguson, Nita (Tom) Jackson, Hugh (Rhoda) Campbell, David Campbell, Ruth Walker, Forrest Grant, Perry Herman, and Charlie Swan. The Celebration of Life was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Fred Lane & Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. The Eulogy was read by Kerri Herman. The music during the service was played by bag piper Thomas Marr-Laing, organist Kerri Hillaby, and special music by the Gibbs family. The pallbearers were Dennis Gibbs, Terry Franklin, Larry Needham, Joe Gibbs, Dwayne Franklin, and Lee Hillaby. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Mickey may be made to the Friends of Vermilion Health Centre. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Thank you ~ Two words that don't really "cover it". We, The Family of the Late, Moira (Mickey) Campbell, Wish to extend a Huge vote of Gratitude to All those who supported us in any way throughout the last 14 months. And some a lot longer than that. Your Generosity, Love and Support, not only made it possible for Our Mother to stay in her own home right up until last June, but helped all of us through some very tough times. A Huge Thankyou to All the Wonderful people for visits, phone calls, emails, messages and the many, many cards, the many, many Heartfelt Hugs, Flowers, Baking, Food, and for attending the Memorial Service.
