Obituary of Jose Morales

MORALES ~ Jose Florentino Morales passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the age of 71 years. Jose will be sadly missed by his wife, Loreta Morales of Lloydminster ,Alberta, daughter Marilou (Eric) Rutley of Cold Lake, Alberta, son Jose (Arce) Morales of Lloydminster, Alberta, sister Gloria Florentino Morales, brother Roberto (Sylvia) Morales, sister Paz Florentino Morales, all of the Philippines, and his five grandchildren Danielle, Kenneth, Jose Alwyn, Jose Rogelio, and Arcelia Jo of Lloydminster. A Prayer Vigil for Jose was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Lynn Pion officiating. The Mass of Christian Burial for Jose was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Louis Fowoyo officiating. The Eulogy was read by Marilou Morales-Rutley. Readings were done by Windy Yap and Marilou Morales-Rutley. The Responsorial Psalm was read by Socrates Yap. A Prayer of the Faithful was read by Marilou Morales-Rutley. The music during the service was played by organist Donna Weston. Solo "Ave Maria" was sung by Carmelita Swan. The gifts and flowers were given by the family and his grandchildren. The active pallbearers were Jose Nulod, Severino Florentino, Tirso Cruz, Garth Gerrard, Jeffrey Bautista, and Norberto Bautista. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery followed by lunch at Woo's Kitchen. Donations in memory of Jose Morales may be made to a charity of the donors choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
