My condolences to Rob's family, I only recently discovered that he had passed on well before his time.I remember fondly the last time I saw and talked to him. We caught up on each others lives after not seeing one another for quite awhile, he was still the same great guy that I knew for over 2decades. He will be missed by everyone he befriended.

I remember playing football with Rob as kid many,many times. He was always having fun and great to be around. I was really sad to hear the passing of Rob. He is a great person who will be missed by many.

Back in the early nineties, rugby was a different sport than it is today. It was a game of big forwards that were slow and strong, and small backs that were fast and, well....prissy. I have heard the story many times from Mac about the game that changed all of that. Rob had the stature of a big strong forward but the speed of fast back. Nothing prissy about him! Deciding to put Rob at centre was a move that first garnered disbelief from all who opposed him, but that disbelief quickly turned to all out fear. It was a game that has forever shattered any stereotypes that may have existed in Lashburn Rugby. I have found myself many times describing centres as being "like Rob" and always will. He was an amazing athlete and an even more amazing person. I will certainly miss him.

Our memories of you are from a simpler time. Just kids having fun playing around on the streets of Lashburn. Hanging at B.J.'s and laughing til our stomachs hurt. This is how I remember you.
