Thank you so very much for sharing your Dad and Grandfather with us. He was always a joy to visit. We have one of his "auger" bird feeders, so think of him often. When Mum was in Scotland, I found out that I was being transferred to Edmonton - so I phoned Doug to tell him. He and Mum spoke almost every day - so although I have not met all of you, I sure have heard of all of you, either from Doug directly, or through Mum. He will be missed, but we are all richer for knowing and loving him. We'll always have those memories.
