Grandpa loved the farm, as kids we had grandpas and great grandpas, and Arden and Myra were Grandpa and Grandma on the Farm so none of us were ever confused with who we were about to visit. The only time I remember seeing grandpa in a hat was when he was farming, or golfing, never wore a hat to town, but always wore his cowboy boots. Granpda was a great dancer, and a charmer. He could make anyone smile, or laugh with a story, a joke, or just his laugh when he got going. Through his 97 years he saw and did many things a lot of people never had or will have the opportunity to experience. I and our family were so blessed and so lucky to have known his Love, his wit and all thing that were Arden Ritchie. Grandpa I think I can hear you singing ALFALFA HAY to Grandma Ross as I am writing this. Love You Poppa!
