The passing of Mom was a shock to us all and no one was really able to prepare themselves for it. Dad was forever hopeful that Mom would rebound and be able to come home. Unfortunately she could not do as Dad wished (she rarely did anyways) and Mom left us peacefully with Wendy, Guy and me by her side to say it was alright to go and you will find comfort and peace now and that we loved you very much. Mothers Day has now come and gone and I did not really understand how difficult it is not to have your Mom to call and see what she is going to do for the day. We always planted potatoes on Mothers Day. My wife lost her Mom some time ago and she always said, "You won't understand until it happens to you" and Tracey is absolutely correct. So Mom, Happy Mothers Day from all of us in Red Deer. I wonder what you are going to do today?? I love you and I miss you. Terry

Our sincere and heartfelt sypmathy go out to Bob, Sherry, Wendy, Guy, Terry & Flora and their families. Bert led a good life, and turned no one away from her door. She was a true inspiration for all of us. She remains in our hearts forever, and we are comforted knowing that although her job here among us is done, she will watch over us from her eternal home. God Bless.

Bob, Sherry, Guy, Wendy, Terry, Flora and families. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Bert was always there for everyone and so proud of her family and later on, had the grandkids and great grandkids to love too. She always talked about them when I visited her. Yes, Bert always had the coffee on and ready for a good old chat! I remember the last time when I came down, I phoned her about 10 km away and said, "coffee on"? She will be so very missed but the good memories will always be in your hearts to have forever. I will miss you my dear cousin.......

To Bertha's Family: We are so sorry to hear of Bertha's passing. I have very fond memories of Bertha teaching me how to make leftsa. The making of it was as much fun or more fun than the eating of it....and it tasted darn good. I know you will all have incredible memories of this wonderful lady that will help you through this difficult time. We are thinking of you.
