Obituary of Eunice Tannas

BIOGRAPHY TANNAS ~ Eunice Vivian Tannas passed away in Vermilion, Alberta on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the age of 92 years. Eunice will be sadly missed by her children: Dale and Aby Tannas of Victoria, Ron and Judy Tannas of Marwayne, Glen and Shauna Tannas of Calgary, and Sandra Tannas of Vancouver; brothers: Bill (Iris) Berg of Claresholm and Art (Roberta) Berg of Victoria as well as numerous other relatives. Eunice was predeceased by her husband Carl, her sister Thelma (Bill) Gray, her brother Lloyd (Iona) Berg, her sister Elaine (Ellef) Johnson and her sister Hazel (Scotty) Smith. The funeral service was conducted from the Marwayne Alliance Church, Marwayne, Alberta on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. The eulogy was read by Bill Berg and Dale Tannas. The solo "Amazing Grace" was sung by Sheryl George. The hymn was "Beyond The Sunset" accompanied on the organ by Joanne Horton. The active pallbearers were All The Grandchildren: Kim, Tyler, Delani, Robbie, Darren, Kristen and Connor. The interment was held in the Marwayne Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. The family would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to the staff at the Islay Assisted Living Centre, and the Vermilion Hospital for the kind and compassionate care that Mom received. Reverend Bob, your visits were very special for Mom. The support, assistance and caring that we received from the community at this time is overwhelming - Thank You All Dale, Ron, Glen, Sandra and Families Donations in memory of Eunice may be made to the Marwayne Cemetery Fund, Marwayne United Church or charity of the donor's choice.
