Obituary of Edwinne Nelson

BIOGRAPHY NELSON ~ Edwinne Adelaide Nelson passed away at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Edwinne will be sadly missed by her husband Conrad of 70 years; sons: Norman Nelson, Brian Nelson; daughter Maureen and Tracy Hunt; special family friend Doug Kitching; grandchildren: Tanya (Mike) Gallant and Michelle (Rick) Loop, Lonny and Katherine Nohnychuk, Leon and Tarra Nohnychuk, Lori-Anne and Kent Chappell and Lisa and Ryan Rose; great grandchildren: Tijana, Enya, Skye, Aidan, Lonna, Kalem, Dreyson, Taylin, Keenan, Lucas, Jaylee and Tanaya as well as numerous other relatives. The graveside service was conducted from the Zion Cemetery on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Eric Persson officiating. The active pallbearers were Lonny Nohnychuk, Leon Nohnychuk, Kent Chappell, Ryan Rose, Doug Kitching, Ken Nelson and Aidan Millar. The interment was held in the Zion Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Edwinne Nelson would like to thank everyone who provided their support and condolences during this time. A special thank you goes out to the paramedics from Vermilion who drove the ambulance, also the doctors and the nurses who gave mom the best care at the Grey Nuns Hospital, 4th floor. A special thank you to Jill Johnson, your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you to Pastor Persson for the kind words and support to our family, and a special thank you to Glenn McCaw and staff for all the care and understanding. We also would like to thank the pallbearers for all their help.
