So sorry to hear about Stuart. Thanks Rheanne for letting Dad & Mom, Don & Gladys Mannell know. They enjoyed your parents' company so much and the trips they took together. I was hoping that I would have been able to make the trip west in time to see them but time has gone so fast.

Dear Millie and Family: My deepest sympathy in your great loss. I shall remember Stuart as a very kind, gentle man. Ken and I always enjoyed our cup of coffee with Stuart at the Golf Course hearing stories of early Lasburn. We know just how much time and effort he put into making the town of Lasburn the lovely town it is today. May your memories of yesterday be a comfort in the days to come. May God Bless You Irene Waring

Over the years I have seen Stuart as a friend, family, a mentor and teacher, a leader in business, a community leader, always a farmer with a love for golf. He loved his family and was proud to live in Saskatchewan especially in Lashburn. Seeing him in Maidstone recently I kept thinking how dementia had freed him from all of the pain that accumulates over a lifetime and that his last while he was content in his own space. We should be so lucky to greive the loss of the good gifts that Stuart shared and forgive the hardships built up over a life time.

Dear Millie, Bobi, Rheanne, Bev and families; Our most sincere condolences on the loss of Stuart. I remember him well, from my days with Bobi at the Pharmacy. He loved a Sweet Marie chocolate bar as I recall. he said it was the biggest bar on the rack, and was the best deal. He was so proud of his daughters, and especially proud of all of his grandchildren. Enjoy your memories, they will keep him close.

Just a few weeks ago when visiting Stuart, he asked if I ever bought a car from him? When I said "no" he informed me that I had missed out on a great deal! He was always very gracious with us and such a help with history lessons on Lashburn. Our thoughts and prayers to the family. Stuart's stories will be repeated over and over as he truly was a story teller. Hugs to Millie and family.

Stuart was a role model and an adopted grandpa for me while I was growing up in Lashburn. He will be greatly missed but his memory will live on in the minds of everyone he touched with his kind soul.
