We were surprised and saddened to hear, during our recent time away from Canada, of Jessie's death. We first met Jessie while she was still living in her farm home- and often we'd meet her car on the road, as she headed off to one of the many activities she was so busy with. In the last few years at the Lodge, it has continued to be a pleasure to visit with her. She was always gracious and welcoming, and always interested in hearing and sharing news. And, true to form, on the last visit in January from our school group, she and her partner nearly skunked their opponents in a game of cribbage! We would like to extend our sympathy to your famiy at this time.
