In Africa, we pour libations from time to time to remember our ancestors, to recognize their assistance in our lives. At such times, we remember Bob and we cherish his love of the land, of his family, and of his fellow man.

I had a great memories of Bob, a warm and gentle person and with great humour too. We really felt welcome when we came to visit Bob and Evelyn at the farm. Those chickens, vegetables and flowers he tended, were memories of my childhood as we had back then in the Philippines. We will not see you again but you will remain in our thoughts and in our hearts.

I never had the opportunity of knowing Bob, though we were distantly related. I knew of him and his lovely family through my uncle, Stu McPherson. Bobs warmth and humour shone through every time Stu used to talk of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless.

It was with heartfelt sorrow that we heard of the passing of Bob. We had stayed at the farm on many occasions with Bob & Evelyn on our trips to Canada, and so enjoyed their hospitality, friendship, and humour. We will miss Bob greatly. God Bless and goodbye. Stu & Marilou and all the family here in the U.K.

I was saddened to hear of my Uncle's passing. I have many fond memories that fill a life time of shared family occasions. It was always a special time when I traveled to "the farm" to visit my Aunt and Uncle and cousins. Uncle Bob was always tall and quiet, smart and wity, gentle and tolerant with a shock of hair hanging over one eye ready to be brushed back by Aunt Evelyn. He will be missed, but remain always in our hearts.
