Many memories flood over me when i think of Lawrence Perks...He was a mentor, and a friend to a young boy named Bobby Lowrie in the 1960's and 70's. He provided the opportunity to learn about clothes and decor items with his and Mr. Spence's fascinating store..I spent many hours perusing all those items..and finally he gave me a first opportunity to earn a teenage living as a ticket seller at the old Marwayne Movie Theatre... His kind ways and gentleman demeanor will always be remembered and greatly respected... Our love to you all, Bob and Dorothy, mom, Doreen and brother Allan's family.
