B I O G R A P H Y GARA: Martha Marie Gara passed away peacefully on July 20, 2005 at the age of 68 years. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her five children: Ken (Charlene), Lorne, Brenda (Curtis), Belinda (Marc), Dawn (Jim); as well as eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Martha is also survived by her three sisters and two brothers, as well as several nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by her husband Bill Gara and an infant daughter Patricia Ann, her parents Mathew and Mary, three brothers and three sisters. Martha was a seamstress in high demand, and an avid bowler. She developed a great many friendships while working at Canadian Tire and being a member of the Ladies of the Moose. A prayer service was held Friday, July 22, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial was conducted July 23, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Adam Lech officiating at the St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, AB. Martha will be laid to rest at Mausoleum, St. Albert, Alberta. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral services. Card of Thanks Thank you to Dr. Snyman, Dr. Lakins and the staff of the Jubilee Home for the care of our mother Martha Gara during the time she spent in your care. Thank you to the ladies of the Moose and the CWL for providing and serving lunches. To all who sent food, flowers, cards - thank you. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Donations in memory of Martha may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
