B I O G R A P H Y POLLARD: Marvin Kenneth "Ken" Pollard passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on Friday, July 29, 2005 at the age of 57 years. Ken is survived by: his mother Dorothy Pollard of Lloydminster; three sisters and two brothers: Mary Ellen Sabiston of Marshall; Doug Pollard and his wife Deb of Lashburn; Lee Pollard of Sherwood Park; Lynn and her husband Glen Laursen of Lloydminster; Tracy and her husband Lee Knutson of Leduc; five nephews: Jason (Lara) Laursen, Stuart & Denise) Sabiston, Patrick Pollard, Micheal (Cindy) Sabiston, Eathan Knutson; four nieces: Melissa (Lane) Laursen, Lean (Justin) Carpenter, Erin Pollard, Amy Knutson; thee great nieces: Lanye Laursen, Noahh Laursen, Paige Skarsen and two great nephews: Logan Laursen and Hunter Sabiston as well as numerous other relatives. Ken was predeceased by his father Marvin January 8, 2003. The memorial service for Ken was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Jackie Deardon officiating. Hymns sung were "Amazing Grace," and "One Day At A Time," accompanied on the organ by Marj Kilback. Honorary pallbearers were: Karen Collins, Jim Collins, Blair Collins, Bonnie Yaremy, Ryan Collins, Robert Sunderland, Darryl Dillon, Ahsan Mirza and Fazal Mirza. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of the late Ken Pollard would like to thank everyone who sent food, flowers, donations, cards, phoned and visited. To Jackie Reardon for the meaningful service, to Marj Kilback for the beautiful music, the Forester Ladies for the delicious lunch and to the honorary pallbearers. The Ken Pollard Family Donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
