B I O G R A P H Y WHITE: Evelyn White of Lloydminster and formerly of the Madresfield district passed away in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at the age of 93 years. Evelyn was born on the farm south of Blackfoot in the Madresfield district August 19, 1912 to Percy and Florence Templeman. Evelyn White is survived by: three daughters: Dawn King, Anne and her husband Art King all of Kitscoty, Marion and her husband Bob McDonough of Derwent; one son: George White and his wife Dixie of Claresholm; six grandchildren: Judy and Don Parker, Richard and Karen King, Murray King and Roxena, Lorie and Hugh Christie, Wade and Trish McDonough, Glen and Diane White; two step-grandchildren: Alex, Corey and Carol; twelve great grandchildren: Jody Parker and her fiancé Brian Heidmiller, Brad and Colleen Parker, Gordie King, Jim and Jodi King, Bill King, Ian, Kim and Tana Christie, Justin and Aliah McDonough, Melissa and Jessica White; four step great-grandchildren: Gabe, Devon, Donavone and Stephanie; six great great grandchildren: Jenica and Caden King, Emily and Kaitlin Parker, Brooke and Teagan King; one sister Wyn Martin and one brother Les Templeman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by: her husband Harold, one grandson Roy White, one great granddaughter Lisa Parker, one son-in-law Gordon King and one sister Hilda Thompson. The funeral service for Evelyn was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. Hymns sung were “Rock of Ages,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” and “The Church In The Wildwood,” accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. Active pallbearers were: David Stevenson, Mike Cole, Bryan Harvard, Don MacKay, Glen Pederson and Drayson Jones. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of Evelyn White would like to thank the following: the emergency staff at the Lloydminster hospital, the Lloydminster ambulance attendants, doctors, nurses and staff at the Misericordia hospital in Edmonton. Reverend Bob Aldrich, organist Irene Knowlson, the pallbearers and the ladies of the United church for the lovely lunch. Thanks also to everyone for cards, flowers and donations, the food, phone calls and visits. Thanks to Dale McCaw and the staff of McCaw Funeral Service for all their thoughtfulness. The Family of Evelyn White Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Kitscoty Community Hall or to a charity of the donor's choice.
